Safety is of the utmost importance at Don Miller & Associates. We maintain an exemplary safety record. Our Experience Modification Rate ranks among the lowest in the industry— an indicator of
the importance of safety in our organization.

In today’s industrial world, safety has become an integral part of operations. The increasing number and complexity of local, state and
federal rules, regulations and laws requires an ongoing program of training, education and medical surveillance. To accomplish this, we
employ a full-time safety coordinator to manage the safety and health program.

Basic training is an eight-hour safety and health orientation class taught by the Association of Reciprocal Safety Councils. The course provides a foundation for expanding training in confined
space entry and rescue, emergency response training, and First Aid/CPR. Selected individuals receive additional training in a variety of areas such as lead paint removal, scaffolding, and trenching and shoring to assist us in handling a broad spectrum of projects. This attention to safety has enabled us to have one of the industy’s lowest EMRs since our founding in 1988.
